The town emblem was adopted on Apr 1st 1973 but there is no flag law. The green flag has a yellow town emblem in the center. The town emblem is a stylized kanji 木 Ki of Kijo. The upper flying bird symbolizes a peace and a development of the town, the lower circle does a reconciliation, and a cooperation by the residents and the richness supporting them.
