The city emblem and the flag were adopted on Mar 1st 2006 by Ordinance No 3. The purple flag has a white city emblem in the center. The city emblem is a stylized hiragana た Ta of Takeo. It represents an exponential development of the rapidly advancing tourist city. The flag proportion is 2: 3.
